The following components are recommended in the development and organization of an Extended Learning Opportunity Portfolio:
- Table of Contents.
- Original Project Proposal.
- Dates and Details of the ELO process.
- Evidence of collaboration with mentor teacher, community partner, and others as appropriate.
- Research notes and sources.
- Learning logs, work samples, documentation of interviews, or other written artifacts
- Drawings, photographs, or other graphic evidence of learning.
- Evidence of ongoing and summative reflection.
- Evidence of competency and/or goal achievement.
- A summary of the experience, reflecting on the process, results, and impact on you as a learner.
