Advisory

Advisory at Lebanon High School

Building Connections. Strengthening Community. Supporting Every Student.

Advisory is a dedicated time each Friday morning for students and staff to connect in a supportive, non-academic setting. It’s a space where community is built intentionally—one conversation, one check-in, and one small group at a time.

Each advisory group is organized by grade level, creating a consistent environment for students to build relationships, reflect, and engage in meaningful discussions. This time is a key part of our commitment to ensuring that every student is seen, heard, and supported throughout their high school journey.

Purpose

Advisory is more than a meeting. It's a foundation for:

  • Strengthening student-staff relationships

  • Building trust and community among peers

  • Supporting student well-being and communication

  • Fostering a positive school culture across all grades

Advisory Goals

  • Connection: Every student is known and supported by an advising adult.

  • Community: Positive relationships are built among students in all grade levels.

  • Culture: We promote a caring, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
