Our School
Founded in 1876, Lebanon High School is a dynamic public school serving students in grades 9–12 in the heart of New Hampshire’s Upper Valley region. Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), LHS is dedicated to academic excellence, curiosity, and community. Our faculty of seventy educators includes highly qualified professionals, with the majority holding advanced degrees.
Students from the neighboring towns of Grantham and Plainfield join our school community in grades 7 and 9, contributing to a diverse and vibrant student body. Approximately 80% of LHS graduates pursue higher education, with many attending competitive four-year colleges and universities.
At LHS, we offer a wide range of Advanced Placement (AP) and college preparatory courses, along with unique programs like Extended Learning Opportunities, dual enrollment, and STEM internships. Lebanon High School fosters a welcoming, academically challenging environment where students are supported in discovering their strengths, building meaningful connections, and preparing for success beyond graduation.
